Senior Applications Engineer โ€“ C#/GraphQL/ArcGIS/AGOL Developer

Location: Prefer St. Louis, MO candidates. If outside St. Louis, must live in one of the following metro areas: Austin (TX), Charlotte (NC), Dallas (TX), Denver (CO), Chicago/Lockport (IL), Houston (TX), Lansing (MI), Memphis (TN), or San Antonio (TX) โ€“ Hybrid (3 days per week in office for first 60 days)

ADB is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to support our Applications Development team and support ADB's growth. The ideal candidate will utilize their IT data expertise to analyze gaps and build tools to support our operations teams. They will be deadline driven, accountable, and innovative to develop processes and procedures to drive efficiency within the department.

Must-Have Skills
  • 10+ years of System Analysis, Configuration and Programming experience with strong preference for JavaScript, .NET, Python, PL/SQL, MSSQL
  • 10+ years C#,.NET, JavaScript, Python, MSSQL
  • GraphQL Integrations, REST API, Entity
  • ArcGIS Enterprise/AGOL and/or other FSM, GIS platforms
  • PL/SQL Developer (solid skills required)
  • Working with spatial data types (geography, geometry columns)
  • Expert level in working with REST API, GraphQL Integrations, ArcGIS Enterprise/AGOL and/or other FSM, GIS platforms (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred / High school diploma or equivalent required
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage application enhancements and integrations between internal and external enterprise systems with a focus on Field Service Management (FSM) and GIS systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations across enterprise level applications and services using.NET, Python, JavaScript
  • Administrator various database technologies including versioned systems using PL/SQL and MSSQL
  • Partner with senior business and IT leaders to define long-term system strategy and roadmap
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple systems, stakeholders, and departments
  • Translate enterprise goals into scalable system solutions that support innovation, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Create technical and process documentation
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of large-scale software systems and platforms
  • Mentor and support other engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams across the organization
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evaluate their fit for future business and technical objectives
  • Serve as an informal leader and mentor to other team members, with the ability to effectively onboard, train and lead by example for Level I-III Analysts and Engineers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
