Job Responsibilities
The Geomatics Analyst will serve as an integral member of the Environmental Engineering team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Fulfill mapping requests for executive meetings, legal documentation, preliminary scouting and AFE (purchase reports)
  • Create and maintain Land dataset features using ArcGIS geoprocessing tools
  • Complete interdepartmental-related data requests by entering and sending data to/from various sources and utilizing in ArcGIS
  • Locate, obtain, and load data from public ArcGIS data repositories
  • Assist the Geomatics department in developing new datasets and making schema changes to existing datasets
  • Utilize the Esri GIS Portal to publish and maintain web maps, feature layers, and applications for use by all employees
  • Responsible for data QA/QC regarding ownership research, topology, and lease agreement accuracy
  • Coordinate with third party data vendors
  • Familiarity with application of AI and machine-learning techniques
  • Assist in training other employees in the use of the Company's GIS Portal and desktop applications when requested
  • Comply with Seneca's EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Geography, GIS, Surveying, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences, or related discipline OR an Associate's Degree or professional certification in GIS and two (2) - five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience using ArcGIS Pro, Land management software and Autodesk software suite is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania Oil and Gas regulations is preferred but not required
  • Intermediate proficiency using the Microsoft 365 is required
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.
This position is a DOT-covered function and must comply with all applicable DOT requirements.
