Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer with GIS Experience to join their team and contribute to the development of innovative geospatial software solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize applications that leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies to process and analyze spatial data.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop GIS software applications
• Integrate geospatial data into applications
• Develop and optimize spatial data algorithms
• Collaborate with teams to define project requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application issues
• Ensure GIS software meets performance and scalability requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship)
• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Strong knowledge of spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefiles, GeoJSON)
• Experience with geospatial libraries and APIs (e.g., GDAL, OGR)
• Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Spatialite)
