Adecco is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates for a new warehouse operation in Southaven, MS. In this role, you'll support the daily operations of a fast-paced distribution facility by performing a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. If you're safety-minded, detail-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to meet you. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing operation and contribute to the successful launch of a brand-new facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Prepare, process, and move merchandise safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting established productivity standards

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment

• Receive incoming products and put merchandise away in designated locations

• Process product returns and assist with inventory control

• Use scanners to read product barcodes and follow task instructions on computer screens

• Load boxes and merchandise onto trucks for shipment

• Follow all company safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations

• Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and hazard-free work environment

• Work in various areas of the fulfillment center, including prep, picking, packing, gift wrap, receiving, and loading, based on business needs

• Meet or exceed company standards for attendance, punctuality, conduct, safety, security, accuracy, and productivity

• Adapt to changes in processes, procedures, and priorities

• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and managers

• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dependable transportation to and from the job site

• Basic computer skills

• One to two years of related warehouse or distribution experience and/or training preferred

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach for extended periods

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet productivity goals

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and multifunctional environment

• Must comply with all company safety rules, policies, procedures, and facility requirements

• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.86 per hour
