What Success Looks Like 

  • Put your welding skills to work operating MIG (and occasional TIG) equipment to create strong, high-quality components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures with precision (down to 1/32”) to assemble structural parts that fit right the first time.
  • Confidently stitch sheet metal and weld water-tight tanks that meet exacting standards.
  • Position weld-ons and beam pads accurately, knowing the details make all the difference.
  • Use a variety of shop tools—including grinders, drills, shears, and plasma cutters—to bring designs to life.
  • Take pride in your craftsmanship by performing quality checks and delivering work you’re proud to put your name on.

Qualifications That Shine 

  • 2–4 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or GED (technical school certification a plus)
  • AWS D1.1 welding certificate

Pay Range: $23.81 – $28.10 per hour, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications. For 2nd shift there is a $3.00 per hour shift differential. 

Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role.

Benefits: Eligible for standard company benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and other employee programs. More detailed information is available at 2026 GFS Benefits. 

Actual compensation will be determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, skill level, and market conditions. For remote or hybrid positions, the listed pay range applies to applicants in the specified location.
