Job description

Overview

As the Database/Information Technical Analyst  working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will support Government Equipment Management Information System (GEMIS, iNAVSEA Sharepoint) and overall Windows 10 support with Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI). Individuals will also have to interface with NAVSEA Chief Information Office (SEA-00I) as well as Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) to work solutions to Information Technology (IT) issues.

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Assist NSWC Corona with maintenance and enhancements, to include data population, to a Government-owned integrated relational database, such as the Government Equipment Management Information System (GEMIS), that will house/consist of current information regarding GFE contract status, RDDs, BEDDs, SYPDs, shipping dates and information, actual receipt dates and information, receipt status (including missing or damaged GFE), GFE nomenclature, GFE Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) status and other information as required 
  • Educate staff on processes or usage and provide assistance for technical and helpdesk support services, with NSWC Corona, to GEMIS including: 
    • Complex queries 
    • Data structure modifications and updates 
    • New report development and report modification 
    • GFE system administration including internal database security look-up table maintenance 
    • Programming support for non-standard/ad hoc data requirements 
    • General GFE system support including new user training, issue resolution and documentation maintenance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 4 years relevant experience in Database/Technical Data Analytics 
  • DoD Secret level clearance

Preferred:

  • 8 Years relevant experience in Database/Technical Data Analytics 

Salary range (subject to experience and qualifications) - $80,000 - $100,000
