Job description

Quality Automotive and Tire

Assistant Store Manager / Parts Director

Quality Automotive and Tire

Own the parts department. Build it into the best-run operation around. This isn’t a counter job. We’re handing the right person the keys to our entire parts operation — and the room to run it, fix what’s broken, and make it better than anyone has before. If you’re competitive, driven, and want a department to call your own, keep reading.

What you’ll own• Full ownership of the parts department — ordering, inventory, pricing, returns, cores, vendors, the whole operation• Build the systems that keep the right part on the shelf and get trucks off the lift faster• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships — you set the terms and drive the margins• Lead and develop the counter team; set the bar for accuracy and hustle• Serve as the store manager’s right hand and step up to lead when it’s time• Own your numbers — inventory accuracy, turns, fill rate, margin — and get rewarded for moving them

WHO YOU ARE:• You take charge and run your own show; micromanagement makes you miserable• You’re competitive and driven — you want to win, and you want it measured• You’re organized and accurate, and sloppy operations drive you nuts• You move fast, juggle a lot, and get restless when things sit still• You can lead a team and command a room — with your people, with vendors, with customers• You’d rather be handed a goal and the freedom to hit it than a list of tasks Automotive parts experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person. We’re hiring for drive, ownership, and judgment first. What we offer• Competitive pay + benefits, with real upside for performance• Autonomy — this is your department to run, not a clock-in/clock-out job• A growing shop where results get noticed and good people move up fast
