Job description

With an immediate start date, we are seeking:
Saturday School Teachers / Substitutes
We are looking for qualified educators with native-level German proficiency to teach and/or substitute teach in our German Saturday School. Teachers will provide instruction to one or more of the following age groups: Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and Adults. Candidates should demonstrate strong commitment, flexibility, reliability, and a passion for teaching language learners of varying ages and proficiency levels. In addition to classroom instruction, teachers support student progress through lesson planning, preparation, and grading, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Native-level proficiency in German
  • Training and experience in teaching German as a language
  • Experience working with one or more of the listed age groups
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
  • Experience with differentiated instruction to support diverse learners
  • Availability to work on Saturdays
  • Valid U.S. work authorization required
