Psychiatrist Opportunity

Baptist Health Jacksonville is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our outpatient geriatric behavioral health team in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a unique opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, while making a meaningful impact in the lives of an aging population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and mood disorders
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active or eligible Florida medical license
  • DEA license required
  • Interest or experience in geriatric psychiatry preferred
  • Residents and Fellows encouraged to apply
