This opportunity is for a self-motivated, team-orientedGeotechnical Engineer with outstanding design and project management experienceacross the mining, oil sands, hydroelectric and heavy civil infrastructuresectors. You'll manage the full scope of engineering assignments and help growBBA's geotechnical and engineering services across the Canadian Prairies.

Alberta's energy, mining and heavy-civil markets aremoving fast: oil sands operators are modernizing tailings and daminfrastructure, mining clients are expanding critical-mineral projects and theprovince's decarbonization push is creating new geotechnical challenges everyweek. BBA's Calgary and Edmonton teams are growing to meet this demand, andwe're looking for a self-motivated Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer who wantsto be at the centre of it.

  • Provide early-stage technical review and risk management for tailings, dam and mine-infrastructure projects
  • Lead geotechnical engineering evaluations and assessments
  • Prepare and manage site investigation plans
  • Manage geotechnical projects, from proposal through to delivery

  • Perform dam and tailings facility design
