Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Survey CAD Designer/Drafter to join our growing team located in Clute Texas. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D who enjoys working with survey data and producing high-quality drawings and models. Responsibilities:

  • Draft and edit survey plats, topographic maps, boundary surveys, easements, and right-of-way drawings
  • Process field survey data, including importing and managing points, breaklines, and surfaces
  • Create and maintain site layouts, grading plans, roadway alignments, utility designs, and pipeline projects in CAD
  • Generate construction documentation, plan sets, cross-sections, and profiles for survey and civil engineering projects
  • Use Civil 3D tools for surface modeling, linework, point management, and quantity takeoffs
  • Ensure all drawings and deliverables comply with company, client, and industry standards
  • Collaborate closely with surveyors and engineers to support project needs and deadlines
  • Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for efficient project workflow
  • Perform Boundary, Topographic, and Pipeline drafting with precision and attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
  • Skilled in managing, manipulating, and using geospatial data for survey and civil engineering projects
  • Experience with Boundary, Topographic, and Pipeline drafting
  • Ability to produce accurate, efficient, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and committed to long-term stability
  • Knowledge of survey terminology, coordinate systems, and field-to-finish workflows
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
