Job Description The asset management planner role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of transportation asset management at the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) by leading department-wide initiatives that enhance data-driven decision-making and strengthen coordination across all asset areas. The position plays a central role in developing the enterprise asset management system, improving the consistency and quality of asset data, and aligning asset management activities with broader departmental efforts such as digitalization, data integration and strategic investment planning. Ideal candidates will thrive in a collaborative, strategic environment where they can influence processes, support cross-department partnerships and help advance MDOT's long-term asset management vision.
