Join the Rapid Prototyping and Innovation team as an intern to help connect factory data sources such as MES, Snowflake, and IoT systems with humanoid robotic platforms using NVIDIA Isaac Sim. In this role, you will support system integration by defining data contracts, building lightweight integration adapters, and designing end-to-end data flows with a focus on performance, scalability, and enterprise requirements. You will work with a cross-functional remote team and deliver documented architectures, prototypes, and a final demonstration with recommendations for future implementation.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Explore approaches to connect factory data sources-such as MES, Snowflake, and IoT systems-with humanoid robotic platforms within Siemens Healthineers using NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
  • Address critical aspects of system integration, data flow, and connectivity.
  • Define data contracts, developing lightweight integration adapters, and architecting end-to-end data flows from source to robot or simulation, with attention to performance, scalability, and enterprise constraints
  • Deliver well-documented outputs, including system architectures, prototypes, and a final demonstration with recommendations for future implementation.
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional, remote team

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • IT Affinity: You have a genuine passion for IT and Innovation
  • Educational Background: You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or have equivalent working/professional experience.
  • Experience with Robotics simulation, Python scripting, ROS/ROS 2 concepts, Data platforms, and robotics middleware integration.

The base pay range for this position is:

$60,320 - $90,376

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
