Job description

Job Summary:
BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Maven Exploitation Specialist/ Data Scientist Middle to support Department of Defense IC missions. The role involves maintaining data holdings, ensuring compliance to data standards, and performing quantitative analysis to improve Machine Learning model development.
Responsibilities:
• Work with GEOSPI team to enhance workflows, automate standard processes, and create efficient processes that result in greater preprocessing productivity.
• Lead and conduct projects using advanced mathematical, statistical, and scientific techniques and principles to examine complex missions and operational problems and create insights from data.
• Support data analytics, data cleaning, analyst workflow efficiencies, and transformation supporting Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) capabilities.
• Apply statistical and analytic methods to support answering intelligence questions, mission requirements, and advanced data analysis.
• Build lightweight analytic tools to visualize data metrics and assess progress of data preprocessing efforts against Government goals.
• Design methods and mechanisms to track, report, and monitor data in order to ensure pipeline movements are timely and support all necessary processes.
• Develop system to provide automated checks on data and processes to guarantee continuous pipeline support.
• Ingest and rectify non-standard data and data in formats that are new within the Data Management Platform (DMP), for integration and curation.
• Generate and manage data dictionaries to ensure information stays updated as data tables change.
• Provide data analysis expertise for assistance in determining if imagery curation techniques and strategies are effective in identifying images of value ( e.g., containing objects of interest or specific imagery characteristics)
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience preparing data, performing statistical analysis, and applying tools and algorithms to gain insights from large, complex geospatial datasets.
• Experience with programming languages and tools such as Python, R, SQL, GIS, or Tableau.
• Experience developing visualizations to communicate analytical results and to assist technical and non-technical audiences in understanding information from large datasets.
• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI, must be willing to take a CI Poly in the future.
Preferred:
• Experience working in AI/ML-relevant fields related to imagery exploitation.
