Job description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop novel AI/ML models for various applications. Publish the findings in top conferences and venues. Deploy the code to our internal platforms in conjunction with our production teams. Educate employees and students on the various research tools and services that we build. Manage stakeholder relationships to enable cross-team collaborations. Mentor students in the applications of AI in finance. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel for internal meetings and external conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Geosciences or related STEM fields of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as AI Researcher, Data Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a PhD in Geosciences or related STEM fields of study plus 1 year (12 months) of experience in the job offered or as AI Researcher, Data Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Publication of original research in peer-reviewed artificial intelligence conferences or journals; Application of heuristic search algorithms to computational problem-solving; Construction and use of hybrid systems that integrate multiple artificial intelligence methods; Representation and manipulation of structured knowledge in computational systems; Use of the Python programming language for software development in research or engineering projects; Participation in collaborative software engineering projects with multiple contributors.  

Job Location: 277 Park Ave, New York, NY, 10172. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel for internal meetings and external conferences.

Full-Time. Salary:  $180,000 - $260,000 per year.
