Join Our Team as a Psychiatrist at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC!

Are you a passionate Psychiatrist seeking a fulfilling opportunity? Look no further! The George Washington University Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team in Consultative Liaison and outpatient services. This is a full-time position offering a unique balance between consultative liaison services and outpatient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve on the psychiatry hospitalist team, providing care to medical-surgery units, the inpatient psychiatric service, and the emergency department.
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
  • Conduct outpatient consultations and develop clinical research programs.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
  • Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
  • Completion of C/L Psychiatry Fellowship training preferred.
  • Licensed to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain.
  • Minimum of four to five years of training experience.
  • Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
