What You'll Do
As our Land Surveyor III, you will support survey projects from initiation through completion, ensuring quality and accuracy while collaborating with internal teams and supporting project delivery efforts.
  • Project Coordination & Support
    Collaborate with licensed surveyors, engineers, CAD staff, subcontractors, and agencies to support project delivery, submittals, and approvals.
  • Technical Surveying & Analysis
    Perform a variety of surveying tasks including boundary analysis, title report review, right-of-way engineering, ALTA surveys, topographic mapping, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and point cloud processing.
  • Mapping & Deliverables
    Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, right-of-way plans, records of survey, and final technical drawings for agency submittals.
  • Research & Calculations
    Research and analyze boundary elements for retracement and perform survey calculations and analytical work to support field and office efforts.
  • Project Documentation & Communication
    Assist with RFIs, reports, schedules, and maintain project file systems while ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of surveying experience with a High School Diploma or GED OR Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or a related field with 2+ years of surveying experience
  • LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center (TBC), Carlson, MicroStation, or InRoads
  • Public mapping experience including subdivision maps, parcel maps, records of survey, and legal descriptions
  • Topographic design mapping experience
  • Ability to read and interpret deeds
  • Knowledge of boundary survey principles
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
