Your hard work ensures that we deliver for our clients. Under the supervision of the Division Manager, you will:Prepare and review of work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local regulatory agenciesPrepare and review of new clientele proposals for federal, state, and local regulatory agenciesDevelop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage them within budgetConduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate health and safety procedures are being followedReview and approve supplier work proposals and invoicesEvaluate/ interpret data and prepare detailed reportsAssist with marketing and business developmentMentor junior staff to assist with their professional developmentYour people skills are essential as you interact regularly with local and national clientele as well as regulatory agencies. Though you do spend a lot of time visiting job sites and interacting with people, you also make sure to keep up on all your administrative responsibilities. Ensuring that clients are happy as well as that all jobs are delivered on-time, within the scope, and on-budget gives you a great sense of accomplishment!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related fieldFive or More years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, stormwater management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectorsConsulting experienceStrong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agenciesDemonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelinesCertified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification or ability to attain within one year of hireAbility to travel within the western regional USDESIRED QUALITIES:Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of the consulting businessStrong commitment to safety and staff developmentPossess ability to effectively manage personnel and administrative functionsAdvanced technical capabilities associated with the specific field of expertiseMotivated self-starter and ability to perform periodic field workStrong problem solving, research, and communication skillsAbility to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with site operationsWillingness to conduct Business Development activitiesTechnical writing competency and computer literacyIn-depth experience with service line specific cost projections, budget preparation and trackingAbility to work individually and as a team memberAre you detail-oriented?
