Job description

Sovereign Consulting Inc., an award-winning environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a GIT / Geologist / Environmental Scientist with 5 to 10 years of experience for its Warrendale, PA office.


Responsibilities:

· Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion sampling

· Monitoring well, soil boring and log preparation

· Preparation of analytical data tables

· Report preparation

· Proposal preparation

· Ability to work individually and in a team environment


Requirements:

· 5-10 years of environmental geology related experience

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field

· PA Geologist-in-Training or PA PG license a plus

· Experience with PA Act 2, PA UST, and Ohio BUSTR regulations

· PA Oil and Gas experience a plus

· Remediation system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience

· OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification, current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plus

· Demonstrated technical writing skills

· Clean driving record

· Occasional overnight travel

· Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
