Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Level Geologist with a minimum of 5 years of drilling experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geological fieldwork, drilling operations, and environmental site characterization and remediation. This role involves conducting field investigations, managing drilling projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental remedial action work plans. This position would be focused in the Central NJ / Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct geological field investigations and site assessments.
  • Manage and oversee drilling operations, including soil and groundwater sampling.
  • Analyze and interpret geological data to support environmental projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of field activities.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement project plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of geological findings.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling operations and geological fieldwork.
  • Strong knowledge of geological principles, drilling techniques, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in using geological software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) certification.
  • Experience with environmental remediation projects.

Pay Range
$85,000-$100,000 USD
