Core GEOINT SME, Mid

TULK is hiring a mid-level Core GEOINT Subject Matter Expert to support GEOINT tradecraft training for the National Geospatial-Intelligence College. This is a strong fit for a cleared GEOINT, intelligence, or mission professional who can teach practical analytic tradecraft, communicate clearly, and help students apply GEOINT concepts to real mission problems.

This role supports foundational and fundamental GEOINT learning, including intelligence communications, critical thinking, geospatial thinking, deployed analysis, cyber GEOINT, and cross-discipline analytic tradecraft.

About TULK

TULK is a boutique strategic technology and management consulting firm supporting U.S. Federal Government, Defense, Intelligence Community, and National Security customers. Our cleared teams help mission organizations operate, communicate, analyze, plan, teach, and execute in dynamic environments.

TULK offers a tailored benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, flexible work schedules where permitted by the customer, performance and referral bonuses, technology support, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), and professional development support.

What you will do
  • Deliver Core GEOINT tradecraft instruction for NGC courses and learning events.
  • Teach and reinforce foundational GEOINT concepts, analytic methodology, intelligence writing, briefing, critical thinking, and geospatial reasoning.
  • Help students apply GEOINT tradecraft through practical exercises, scenarios, discussions, and assessments.
  • Maintain and update courseware, exercises, exams, and supporting learning materials.
  • Support development and implementation of new GEOINT learning solutions.
  • Coordinate with course managers, learning developers, instructors, and government stakeholders.
  • Support special projects, governance, policy, and partnership activities within the GTLSS mission.
Required qualifications
  • Current TS/SCI clearance or TS/SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent mission experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience applying GEOINT, intelligence analysis, mission planning, deployed operations, intelligence communications, cyber GEOINT, geospatial analysis, or related tradecraft.
  • Ability to explain analytic concepts clearly to adult learners.
  • Ability to support in-person, virtual, blended, and scenario-based instruction.
  • Ability to work on-site as required by the customer and travel for mobile training support when needed.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience as an instructor, trainer, mentor, course facilitator, adjunct instructor, military instructor, or tradecraft coach.
  • DoD Basic Instructor Certification or equivalent instructor certification.
  • Experience supporting NGA, DoD, IC, military, or GEOINT mission environments.
  • Experience developing or maintaining instructional materials, exercises, exams, briefings, or analytic tradecraft products.
  • Background in foundational GEOINT, intelligence communications, deployed analysis, critical thinking, geospatial thinking, cyber GEOINT, or cross-discipline analysis.
Best fit

You are a GEOINT or intelligence professional who enjoys teaching the craft, not just doing the work. You can translate operational experience into clear instruction, help students think through practical mission problems, and work as part of a cleared training team supporting the GEOINT community.
