Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan and execute growth strategies to achieve territory New Insurance Written (NIW) goals

- Maintain a calling plan to ensure all customers' needs are met on a regular basis

- Develop comprehensive understanding of customer's organization infrastructure and key decision makers and use it to uncover needs and sell Genworth solutions

- Obtain intimate knowledge of customers Mortgage Insurance ordering process and establish relationships with everyone that influences the choice of MI provider

- Professionally present all aspects of Genworth's value proposition and how it meets customers' needs

- Collaborate with internal resources to solve customer problems and maintain ownership to ensure customers' needs are met

- Regularly use Genworth's sales analytics and reporting tools

- Actively participate in weekly sales meetings and prepare for monthly territory reviews

- Effectively manage the productivity and pricing structure of Onsite Underwriters

- Mentor Account Executives assigned to territory to help drive new business and sales efficiency

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4+ years sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals

- 4 year college degree or equivalent business experience

- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed stretch production goals

- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout all levels of an organization

- Ability to strategize, communicate and execute solutions to customer related issues

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Excellent presentation skills - small and large (50+) audiences

- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Preferred experience with Salesforce.com or similar sales system

- Strong negotiating, closing and follow-up skills

- Quickly adapts and excels in a changing environment

- Ability to work flexible hours and travel overnight on a regular basis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4+ years sales experience in a Mortgage or Financial Services industry

- 2+ years Mortgage banking and/or mortgage insurance experience
