TWO dedicated and skilled
Medical Assistant II to join our Family Medicine team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care and teamwork are top priorities.
The Medical Assistant II will support physicians and clinical staff in providing high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing telephone triage and assisting with insurance authorizations
- Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Administering immunizations and performing phlebotomy
- Maintaining exam rooms and managing patient records
ScheduleMonday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications & Skills- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Experience in Family Medicine preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office preferred
- Strong customer service skills; able to communicate courteously and effectively with patients
- Dependable, flexible, and capable of multitasking
- Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating professionally in English
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Essential Duties- Collect and record patient demographic and medical information; assist with prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Prepare patients for exams and provide physicians with relevant information (lab results, vital signs, medications, allergies)
- Coordinate patient scheduling and address patient inquiries
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Perform repetitive motions associated with computer and office equipment use
- Work in climate-controlled indoor settings

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level.
