Job description

Generator Service Technician
Thomasville, GA l $12.00 - $18.00 / Hour
We are hiring for a Generator Service Technician to service and install generator systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing and providing quality repairs.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair alternating current electrical systems on generators, automatic transfer switches, generator controls and engine related mechanical failures
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes and inspections on all generator and by-pass pumps
  • Test systems for efficiency and output
  • Provide field service support to customers, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of problems
  • Follow safety protocols
  • Other job duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50lbs +
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Clean drug screen
  • Minimum age 18
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License and clean driving record
  • Able to work in all environments
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
Location: Thomasville, GA
Pay Range: $12.00 - $18.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday โ€“ Thursday 7:00AM โ€“ 5:00PM, Friday 8:00AM โ€“ 12:00PM
