Satilla Electric is a trusted electrical contractor serving residential customers throughout Southeast Georgia. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Certified Electrician who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a team that values professionalism, safety, and customer service.

Position Summary

The Certified Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. This individual will work independently and alongside other team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial environments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Perform panel upgrades, service installations, and electrical remodel work
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local electrical codes
  • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems and components
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site
  • Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members
  • Accurately document completed work and materials used
  • Operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles safely

Qualifications

  • Current Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and code compliance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
