Job Summary
This Mechanical Engineer position is for the Steam Generator Replacement project at Beaver Valley. This person works with guidance from the supervisor to prepare and present routine reports and occasionally lead routine problem-solving efforts. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Performs assigned task with guidance from supervision
  • Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies
  • Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects
  • Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Prepare and present routine reports
  • Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem - solving efforts as requested

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 2 yrs. related job experience

Key Metrics:
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills within the team/department
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain effective working relationships within the team/department
  • Basic understanding of power generation operations.
