Controls Design Engineer – Denver, CO – $70,000–$110,000 + Bonus + Remote Flex About the Opportunity:

This company is a growing systems integration and energy solutions provider, and they are seeking a talented Controls Design Engineer to support BAS projects throughout the Denver metro area. With more than 30 years of industry experience and multiple offices nationwide, this firm offers long-term stability, career advancement, and flexible work options. The role includes 1–2 remote days per week and is ideal for junior to mid-level engineers.

  • Status: Full-Time
Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Controls Design Engineer or similar engineering role
  • Solid understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Experience using AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio
  • Strong ability to develop Sequences of Operation and system layout documents
  • Comfortable conducting on-site walkthroughs and coordinating with field personnel
  • Capable of preparing detailed automation submittals and design documentation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop BAS system schematics, sequences, and control layouts
  • Produce control drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD or MS Visio
  • Work with engineering teams and project managers to deliver complete design packages
