Job description

AI Architect - Generative AI
Willingness to work hybrid and onsite in Southfield (Metro-Detroit, MI).

We are in a digital revolution where AI and analytics offer rare opportunities to transform business. Our client provides AI services to help companies unlock AI/ML and GenAI potential, rapidly prototyping, validating, and scaling enterprise solutions. We're hiring an AI Architect to lead this effort.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing and prospective clients to present AI/ML and GenAI-based solutions, including product/platform demonstrations.
  • Lead the technical response to AI/ML and GenAI/Agentic AI related RFPs/RFIs and present the technical solution in customer orals (both In-Person/Virtual)
  • Architect and design sophisticated, advanced analytical applications using GenAI. Examples include but not limited to Forecasting, Predictive Maintenance, Segmentation, Supply Chain Optimization, Computer Vision, Speech, and Text Analytics using appropriate AI/ML and GenAI/Agentic AI tools & technologies across major cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • Design and build GenAI/Agentic AI-based capabilities leveraging LLMs (First-party, Third-party, and Open Source) to solve complex business problems.
  • Act as the primary technical PoC for customers to implement "Responsible AI" practices across the organization
  • Stay up to date with latest industry trends/emerging technologies in AI and provide thought leadership to senior management and CxO teams
  • Provide technical advisory & guidance to customer, pre-sales, and delivery teams on AI/ML and GenAI/Agentic AI platforms and solutions
Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 8+ years machine learning, data science, enterprise scale, experience in ML Ops
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex AI/ML concepts to technical and executive audience (using PPTs, Demos, Whiteboard)
  • Hands-on expertise in fine-tuning LLMs and designing AI/ML and GenAI/Agentic AI solutions on at least 1 major cloud platform (Azure, AWS and GCP)
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to provide technical advisory and guidance
  • Proven ability as Solution Architect designing and developing AI/ML applications
  • Minimum 2-year hands-on experience in building GenAI/Agentic AI applications demonstrating LLM in any of the following industries: manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, financial services
  • Demonstrated ability as Solution Architect in pre-sales team driving the sales process from a technical solution standpoint
  • Expertise in handling large and sophisticated RFPs/RFIs and collaborating with multiple service lines & platform vendors in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field
