Job description

Project Manager - Refinery
Experience:  This position requires a minimum of (5) years of experience in engineering and project management.  Experience in refineries is strongly preferred.
This individual must:
 

  • Have knowledge of project management execution procedures/practices.
  • Once onboarded, must be able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations and requirements to team members and to structure accountability with consistent follow-up.
  • Efficiently manage project(s) minimizing the cost and schedule impacts to the client.
  • Efficiently drive engineering of IFC deliverables and prioritize field activities, (working with the plants project field coordinator).
  • Have a proactive planning approach coordinating with all engineering and construction disciplines.
  • Deliver scope as per premised project targets and identify issues that would hinder delivery.
  • Understand the need to quickly problem solve and based on the issue, be able to pull in the right support to swiftly.
  • Familiarity of management of change processes, equipment drawings, isometric/civil/structural drawings, P&IDs, 3D model reviews, schedule sequencing, safe work plans, risk management, quality assurance.
  • Ability to manage several small projects simultaneously, (potentially in different phases).
  • Degree not required, will accept PM experience in lieu of degree
