Job description

We are seeking an innovative Instructional Designer to join our Organizational Development team and help create impactful learning experiences that drive employee growth and business performance across the organization. In this role, you will partner with multiple business divisions to assess training needs, design effective learning solutions, and develop engaging content that supports enterprise-wide initiatives. You will lead the creation and delivery of instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, and blended learning programs, while managing instructional development projects from analysis through implementation using the ADDIE methodology.

This role supports enterprise-wide training initiatives and partners with multiple business areas to design learning solutions that meet organizational needs. Responsibilities include developing microlearning, online learning, and classroom-based training experiences for employees across the organization.

In addition to the core job requirements, our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in instructional systems design, online course development, and SCORM-compliant content creation
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Presenter, Quizmaker, and Engage), Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe eLearning tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Experiencecreating multimedia learning assets, editing audio and voiceovers, and supporting content delivery through learning platforms
  • Advanced AI capabilities that include leveraging generative AI tools to streamline content development, create learning assets, generate storyboards and assessment content, enhance learner engagement, and improve the efficiency of training design and delivery
  • Strong organizational and professional skills, with the ability to translate complex business concepts into engaging learner-centered experiences, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively both independently and across cross-functional teams

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of audiovisual materials to ensure objectives are being accomplished.
  • Developing, designing and implementing classroom and technology-based training programs to meet organizational/individual needs and requirements.
  • Ensuring the proper preparation, implementation and management of instructional development projects; developing budgets and allocating necessary resources for projects.
  • Contributing to the selection, development and updating of courseware content for web-based or any other media delivery.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

  • 1 year - SCORM content development
  • 1 year - Instructional System Design required.
  • 4 years - Experience in website design and content development, including development of online training and course materials, is required

Skills\Certifications

  • Proficient with Articulate Quizmaker, Engage, Presenter and Storyline.
  • Proficient with TechSmith Camtasia and Snag-It.
  • Ability to edit voiceovers and record audio using Sony Sound Forge or equivalent software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Adobe eLearning Suite.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to apply principles of the ISD/ADDIE model when creating learning models.
