Job description

Your future role at a glance

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Facility: Ascension St. Joseph Hospital

Department: Imaging

Schedule: Day shift | full-time

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and assist physicians with special/advanced imaging.

  • Position patients and select correct technical parameters while following radiation safety standards.

  • Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines; ensure high-quality images and documentation.

  • Maintain a clean, safe department and comply with all imaging and regulatory standards.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
