Job description

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) — Exclusive Contract AssignmentPosition Details

Location: Kailua, HI
Contract Dates: 07/06/2026 – 10/04/2026 (13-week assignment)
Shift: Variable start times (0730 / 0930 / 1130 / 1330) — 10-hour shifts, 36 hours/week
On-Call: 4 shifts/month (5pm–10pm weekdays & weekends; 7pm–10pm Sat–Sun)
Assignment Type: Exclusive Epic Assignment

Role Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures that directly support physician diagnosis and patient care across multiple settings including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging.

You’ll be trusted to operate independently, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced hospital environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures

  • Operate x-ray equipment and adjust exposure settings for optimal imaging

  • Position and prepare patients for exams with clear communication and care

  • Support imaging needs in OR and procedural settings

  • Ensure patient safety and monitor condition during procedures

  • Verify and document exams in PACS

  • Communicate critical findings or concerns to physicians

  • Maintain equipment readiness and exam room setup


Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

  • ARRT (Radiography) — Required

  • State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist License — Required (application/pending accepted at submission, must be active prior to start)

  • BLS Certification — Required

  • HSRT certification — Required

Experience & Education:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

  • Strong competency in general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging required
