They handle a wide variety of neurological conditions such as migraines, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and neuropathies. General Neurologists perform neurological examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests like MRIs and EEGs, and develop treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or referrals to other specialists. Their goal is to improve neurological function and quality of life for their patients.

What are some common challenges faced by General Neurologists in a clinical setting?

General Neurologists often encounter challenges such as managing a high volume of complex cases, keeping up with rapid advancements in neurological research, and addressing patient needs with limited time during appointments.
