POSITION: TRADES and INDUSTRY (Full-Time)

GRADE LEVEL:ย 7 -12

SITE: Prairie Wind Middle School & Perham High School
Perham Schools is seeking to hire a Trades & Industry Instructor for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS: (List qualification according to the position)

1.ย  Valid Minnesota Teacher Certificate.

2.ย  Knowledge of behavior issues and a desire to foster support of academic success.

3. Strong knowledge of Industrial Technology, Agricultural Technology, and Project Based Learning.ย 

3. Job skills and best practices that support all stakeholders and the Perham High School Education Team.

Job Description: The Trades and Industry position is a 7th-12th Career Pathway program that works closely with the community partners and local Technical Colleges to support students in CTE fields of study. The courses taught develop career pathways for students entering the workforce along with two or four year higher education programs.ย  A qualified instructor would teach courses in CAD, General Woodworking, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Project Based Learning.ย
