Construction Laborer
Long-standing agricultural contractor needs an experienced Construction Worker/General Laborer.We are actively engaged in long-term projects in agricultural development and commercial building erection and need additional leadership to support our growth. If you enjoy working outdoors andina positive work environment, you'll love the camaraderie among ourtop-notchcrew.Primary work location isout ofour Sunnyside, WA location with on-site work for different jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradesmen on construction sites and operating various construction equipment.
  • Load & unload materials and equipment.
  • Erecting concrete forms, ramps, and scaffolding, mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete with shovels and trowels.
  • Clearing brush and debris from job sites and assisting with movement of and securing attachments to heavy equipment.

Qualification:
  • Experience with machinery such as pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers, nail guns, etc.
  • We're looking for a couple of years of experience but are willing to provide training for the right fit.
  • You should have a clean driving record as well as a valid driver's license.
  • Able to pass a drug screen, as we do pre-employment and random testing.
  • Comfortable working in rural areas and all types of weather conditions.
  • You should be willing to travel out of town if needed and be prepared to stay up to a week out of town as the ability to travel is currently required based on our ongoing jobs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Candidates should have a clean driving record to be insurable under our company policy and be able to pass a drug screen, as we do pre-employment and random testing.
