Sunterra Horticulture, a division of Profile Products, is a leading Canadian producer of premium sphagnum peat moss. We provide high-quality growing media solutions to greenhouse operators, soil blenders, and horticultural professionals across North America. With operations in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, we are committed to sustainable harvesting practices and delivering products that help growers achieve exceptional results.

The General Labourer is responsible for supporting daily operations through a variety of tasks, including material handling, equipment clean-up, site maintenance, general housekeeping, and assisting production, harvest, and maintenance teams as required. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

This position is available on both day and night shifts and may be scheduled based on operational requirements:

  • Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Night Shift: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Production Supervision and management to determine priorities and courses of action to improve product quality and employee safety
  • Ensure all company procedures are being followed
  • At all times work in a manner that maintains the safety of themselves and others
  • Work extra hours as required to keep production running
  • Additional duties as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
