Job Objective: As a general laborer, you are always responsible for safety, reporting product quality, recording production weights, proper packaging, and storing finished goods in assigned locations.


Essential Functions:

  • Assemble various products – foam, lumber, and/or corrugated – according to print sheets in a timely manner.
  • Safely and responsibly use any tools required for assembly, which could include knives, saws, staplers, nail guns, heat guns, glue guns, wrapping carousel, banding tools, etc.
  • Responsible for inspecting and reporting product quality, proper quantities and packaging, proper labels, recording production weights, and storing finished goods in assigned location.
  • Notify supervisor of material needed for production; may assist in retrieving that material.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and monitor all work processes to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any hazardous situation or identified abuse.
  • Maintain a clean workspace and perform various general tasks such as sweeping, emptying trash, and cleaning spills; ensuring storage/inventory areas are kept neat.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively.

Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime.

Ability to read a tape measure is preferred.

Physical requirements include:

Working Conditions: The work environment for this position is a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather which exposes the employee to outdoor conditions.
