Job description

General Labor in Cold Storage (FREEZER)

Location: BROCKPORT, NY
Shifts Available:
1st shift: 7am - 3pm
2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm
3rd shift: 11pm - 7am
Mon-Fri (Overtime every other Saturday during peak season)
Pay: $17-19/hr, depending on shift differential
Duration: Temp to Hire Opportunity (conversion for high performers after approximately 3 months)
Position Overview
Your daily role
Responsible for insuring the consistent and accurate flow of vegetables through the product feed systems to the repackaging lines. Stage and open raw product totes, break down and stack empty totes and pallets, and are responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the room and areas that they are assigned to. Interacts with the assigned Line Operator and Group Leaders to ensure that the repack operation runs efficiently without substantial product waste and/or loss of production time. Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety measures in place.

Education & Reliability
  • No experience is needed, previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in freezing temperatures and handle physical demands of the position.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
