Job description

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time General Labourer / Warehouse & Yard Associate.


This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is comfortable working in an industrial yard and warehouse environment.


Position Details


• Full-time, permanent position

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Starting wage: $20.00/hour

• Wage review and opportunity for increase after successful completion of the three-month probationary period


Responsibilities


• Load and unload customer trucks and trailers

• Assist with shipping and receiving duties

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory

• Prepare customer orders for pickup and shipment

• Maintain warehouse and yard organization

• Perform general shop and yard cleanup

• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization

• Move materials and equipment using forklifts and skid steers where qualified

• Assist customers arriving for pickups and deliveries

• Support the team with general labour tasks as required


Qualifications


• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Reliable transportation to and from work


Preferred Qualifications


• Experience operating forklifts

• Experience operating skid steers

• Shipping and receiving experience

• Warehouse or industrial labour experience

• Experience in construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial environments

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
