Job Title : Lab Tech
Job Location: White Plains, NY 10605
Job Duration: Potential to convert after 3 months

Note: 2 openings, 1 full time 40 hours per week and one part time 20 hours per week. **Please indicate if application is for full time or part time.

Job Description:
The individual will perform a variety of tasks, ranging from pilot plant trial support, analytical testing of food and beverage products, shipping & receiving, and general lab upkeep and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean, organize and restock product development labs (daily)
  • Support scientists and pilot plant team with trials (weekly)
  • Perform routine equipment calibrations (as needed) and coordinate scheduled contracted vendor visits for calibrations and periodic maintenance.
  • Support shelf-life studies (product analysis and sensory testing)
  • Track and restock ingredients and supplies for the labs (daily)
  • Provide support to clean and put away dishes after meetings and tastings (daily)
  • Manage packing and shipping of products (daily)Manage unpacking and organizing of packages received (daily)Support organization, sample preparation, sample labeling, and coordination of team tastings (weekly)
