Job description

Job Title: Medical Technologist
Location: Plano, TX
Salary Range: $25.41 - $38.11 per hour
Job Summary: Our client seeks five Medical Technologists to perform clinical laboratory tests and procedures requiring independent judgment and responsibility. The Medical Technologist will assist with laboratory training programs and demonstrate proficiency in testing procedures and the use of laboratory equipment. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 1 year of general lab experience or an equivalent clinical laboratory training program.
Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in performing testing procedures.
  • Effectively use laboratory equipment.
  • Perform and evaluate Quality Control Program.
  • Assist with laboratory training programs.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field.
  • NCA, ASCP, HEW, or AMT certification preferred.
  • At least 1 year of general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training program.
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule: This position requires availability for the day, evening (12-7 or 12-8), and night shifts.

  • Sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 for the day shift, $5,000 for the night shift, and $3,000 for the evening shift.
