Job description

Join Our Team of General Cardiologists

We are currently looking for Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologists to become part of one of South Carolina's most esteemed cardiovascular programs. Our dedicated team consists of 21 cardiologists who specialize in general, interventional, and structural cardiology, as well as heart failure, imaging, and electrophysiology services. We encourage subspecialists to apply.

Our organization features a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.

Annual Procedure Volume

Our team performs over:

  • 4,000 catheterizations
  • 1,000 percutaneous coronary interventions
  • 900 implantable cardiac devices
  • 400 structural heart procedures, including 200 valve procedures and 220 left atrial appendage occlusions (LAAO)
  • 200 transcatheter aortic valve replacements
  • 550 ablations
  • 2,000 outpatient CT coronary angiograms
  • 24,000 outpatient echovascular studies
Position Overview

The role includes an average of 21 days of call per year (including nights and weekends) and access to:

  • Cardiac, Vascular, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Centers
  • Dedicated Echovascular and Nuclear Medicine Technologists
  • A highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Clinical Support Team
  • A 3-Star Cardiac Surgery program
  • Comprehensive Vascular Surgery services
  • Minimally Invasive Limb Salvage Surgery
  • Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery
  • Ongoing Clinical Trials
  • Patient Support Groups, Classes, and Educational Programs
