Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant - Dose Formulations to join our team in Greenfield, IN.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the general cleanliness of laboratory work areas, stocking of laboratory supplies, and cleaning of formulation glassware. Supports laboratory technical staff.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Job Responsibilities:
  • Plans assigned workload on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for washing and drying glassware and distributing to the appropriate locations within the lab.
  • General cleaning duties (e.g. mopping, removing trash, etc.)
  • Responsible for disposal of residual dosing solutions after return from Inlife.
  • Responsible for inventorying and stocking the laboratory with supplies and ensuring proper inventories are maintained; procure replacement stock according to established procedure, when necessary.
  • Acts as liaison with Control Point Management and communicates restock/reordering as needed.
  • Prepares Maintenance requests
  • Maintains laboratory records and documentation according to protocol, GLPs and SOPs.
  • Prepares vehicles according to protocol.
  • Dispenses prepared formulations and vehicles.
  • Boxes prepared formulations.
  • Sterilizes glassware and other items using the autoclave.
  • May serve as a trainer on limited Lab Assistant duties
  • Works safely with known hazardous chemicals and maintains safe work environment.
  • Uses laboratory equipment.
  • Familiar with laboratory Policies and Procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
