This role provides the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space. Despite the remote setting, our team fosters a collaborative atmosphere through regular virtual meetings, case collaboration, and cultural competency training sessions. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility available to accommodate patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally attentive mental health assessments to understand the unique backgrounds, strengths, and challenges of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring the selection of therapeutic interventions aligns with the cultural context and personal experiences of the clients.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in addressing their mental health concerns and building resilience.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for mental health emergencies, using your training and skills to help individuals navigate acute situations effectively.
• Engage in patient education, explaining mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources while encouraging active participation in their mental health journey.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and enhance the quality of care provided.
• Stay up-to-date with current research, emerging trends, and evidence-based practices in mental health therapy.

At Mantra Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse patient population comprising individuals from multicultural backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and clients from immigrant communities. • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• A solid understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with cultural competence in therapy practices.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive strategies.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with a calm approach to handling challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• Commitment to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• A collaborative spirit, contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in culturally specific training or community outreach programs.
• Knowledge and experience in integrating telehealth services in therapy practices.
