Total Comfort Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join their growing team of home comfort professionals. As a trusted provider of HVAC and electrical services across the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Total Comfort prides themselves on delivering top-tier workmanship and exceptional customer care. 

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems—including backup generators and HVAC-related electrical components—to ensure their clients enjoy safe, efficient, and uninterrupted comfort in their homes and businesses. Qualifications:
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Minnesota.
  • 4+ years of experience in the electrical field.
  • Generator & HVAC installation and maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and service backup generators, ensuring reliable power solutions for residential clients.
  • Assist in the installation and integration of HVAC systems, including electrical hookups and system testing.
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and related components.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
  • Conduct thorough electrical inspections and diagnostics to ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other trades and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards in all aspects of work.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional interactions.
