X-Ray Technician / X-Ray Technologist

Immediate need for a talented X-Ray Technician / X-Ray Technologist. This is a 06 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Compensation Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation. Weekly Gross Pay: $2,000.00 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Length: 6 weeks
  • Shift: 8hr Days – Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week $2,000/week for 40 hours! – great pay for experienced X-Ray Techs!
  • Level 1 Trauma Center – work in one of the busiest and most respected trauma centers in the Southeast – build incredible experience!
  • Monday–Friday day shift – 7:30am–4pm, enjoy your evenings!
  • High-volume, fast-paced environment – comfortable working ED, inpatient, portables, and OR
  • Teaching opportunity – work with students and perform competency check-offs – build your mentoring skills!
  • Diverse patient population – learn pediatrics and neonates
  • State-of-the-art equipment – GE, Phillips, and CareStream
  • 6-week contract – short-term commitment with great pay!
  • Both Local & Travel welcome! – 1-mile radius for locals

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • X-ray tech comfortable working ED, inpatient, portables, and OR
  • Must be willing to learn pediatrics and neonates
  • Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Evaluate images for technical quality
  • EMR: EPIC and Sectra
  • Equipment: GE, Phillips, and CareStream
  • Assigned to a department by day but expected to float if needed
  • Will work with students at Grady and perform competency check-offs for students
  • Mask fit required
  • On-call required
  • Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience OR 2–3 years at a large bed trauma Level 2 facility
  • Graduate from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
  • Active state licensure (if applicable)
  • EPIC and Sectra EMR experience preferred
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Floating required
  • Locals are accepted – 1-mile radius rule applies
  • On-call required
