Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Rotary Lead
Job Location: ย Houston - Texasย - Hybrid
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Lead and execute Asset Criticality Assessment projects for downstream oil gas facilities
  • Work closely with client stakeholders maintenance operations and engineering teams to define asset hierarchies and criticality criteria
  • Facilitate workshops and gather data for criticality scoring based on risk consequence of failure and operational impact
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with industry standards ISO 55000 API RP 580581
  • Leverage applications such as GE APM SAP PM Maximo and other tools to analyze and update asset data
  • Interpret and utilize engineering documents like PIDs Alarm Rationalization charts loop diagrams etc
  • Provide functional expertise across instrumentation electrical and mechanical assets commonly used in downstream environments eg compressors pumps valves transmitters
  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating asset criticality outputs into maintenance and reliability programs
  • Stay up to date with evolving digital solutions and best practices in the oil gas asset management landscape

Qualifications Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation preferred or related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience in asset management within the oil gas downstream sector
  • Proven track record of delivering asset criticality or risk-based maintenance assessments
  • Strong knowledge of asset management frameworks lifecycle management and reliability engineering concepts
  • Handson experience with tools like GE APM SAP PM Meridiam Maximo or similar platforms
  • Ability to read and interpret PIDs equipment datasheets alarms interlocks etc
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
  • Collaborative and proactive with the ability to work in cross functional teams
