The Military DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real‑world job experiences under DoD Instruction 1322.29. Separating Service members can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full‑time with approved industry partners after unit commander provides written authorization.
Role OverviewOur ACSC facility develops and conducts engine component repairs – including rotating parts, complex assemblies and nozzles on 29 engine models. The Structure Parts Operations Supervisor will perform daily operations of the plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. The role oversees front‑line manufacturing employees, manages hourly staff, and is responsible for staffing and performance development. The supervisor uses technical expertise and analytical thinking to execute policy and strategy, proposes solutions for complex manufacturing processes, and acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues. The position may lead small projects and establish consensus around technical topics.
Basic QualificationsThis role requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information. Employment is contingent upon proof of U.S. Person status: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or a protected individual under immigration law.
