Summary

Serves as the senior medical logistics advisor supporting AMC leadership on medical readiness, medical supply chain operations, theater sustainment planning, and enterprise medical logistics initiatives. Provides strategic-level analysis of Army and DoD medical logistics policies, readiness requirements, and operational plans impacting AMC and supported commands.

Responsibilities Essential Job Functions
  • Analyze Army and DoD medical logistics policies, guidance, and strategic plans.
  • Assess impacts of operational plans, contingency plans, and theater support plans on medical readiness.
  • Develop executive briefings, white papers, information papers, and strategic recommendations for senior Army leadership.
  • Review medical prepositioned stock requirements and readiness initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis using Defense Medical Logistics systems and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with AMC, MEDCOM, USAMMA, AMLC, DHA, and Army Service Component Commands.
  • Provide recommendations to improve medical logistics readiness, accountability, and supply chain performance.
  • Support Army-wide medical sustainment planning efforts.
Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Medical Health System transformation initiatives.
  • Strong executive-level briefing and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of Army medical logistics experience.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting an Army Service Component Command, Major Command, or equivalent headquarters organization.
  • Experience as a 70A, 70H, 70K, or 68J.
  • Experience with DMLSS, DCAM, GCSS-Army, AESIP, and TWELS.
  • Clearance: Active Secret
Preferred Qualifications
  • Former MEDCOM, USAMMA, AMLC, DHA, or AMC medical logistics leader.
  • Experience supporting General Officer-level decision-making.
