Job Summary:
Tessera Labs is redefining how enterprises adopt and operationalize Artificial Intelligence. The Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer will design and own production-grade infrastructure that supports Tessera’s AI systems across multiple cloud providers, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance while enhancing developer velocity.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain production-grade cloud infrastructure
• Be part of a team that supports Tessera’s infrastructure across every cloud provider
• Design, build, and operate Tessera’s multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP and Oracle.
• Enable portable infrastructure across customer environments
• Improve observability, security, and system reliability
• Deploy and operate applications using Kubernetes and Terraform
• Partner closely with product and platform engineers to unblock delivery
• Design and build CI/CD pipelines, own the end-to-end automation of build, test, and deployment workflows for both infrastructure and application code
• Build and maintain a reusable automation framework for day-to-day DevOps and developer workflows, covering environment provisioning, secret rotation, dependency updates, compliance checks, and release management
• Automate operational runbooks and recurring processes, identify manual work across the engineering org and systematically eliminate it through scripts, pipeline stages, and self-service tooling
• Champion an automation-first mindset across the team, if something is done twice, it should be automated; if it's automated, it should be observable and maintained like production code
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloud providers(AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle)
• Proven track record designing and owning CI/CD systems, pipeline architecture, GitOps-driven deployments, release automation, and pipeline-as-code practices expanded
• Experience building automation frameworks for DevOps and developer workflows, including scripting (Bash, Python, or similar), workflow orchestration, and self-service tooling that reduces manual intervention across engineering processes expanded
• Strong networking fundamentals
• Proven experience deploying and operating real production systems
Preferred:
• Experience with FluxCD or other GitOps controllers (ArgoCD, etc.)
• Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps, integrating security gates, SBOM generation, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
• A passion (and curiosity) about clean, unified infrastructure and best practices
